Youth For Tomorrow’s Holiday Community Outreach efforts will provide a Thanksgiving dinner to families in need of food assistance.
Through our behavioral health and community-based programs, we are aware of many families who struggle financially and are in need of food assistance, especially during the holidays.
Please consider clicking our DONATE tab located in the upper right corner of our website, to help a family in need this year. Our goal is to provide non-perishable grocery items for a holiday dinner along with a $75. grocery store gift card to purchase a turkey and perishable food items like fresh fruits and vegetables.
The hunger problem is much bigger than you might guess – right here in our community. There are lots of kids who are going hungry. One in six Americans struggle with hunger and are not sure
where they will get their next meal.
More than 44 million people in the US face hunger, including 1 in 5 children.
Millions of people in the US don’t have enough food to eat or don’t have access to healthy food. This is a big problem, but together, we can solve it.
This holiday season, you can help Youth For Tomorrow support families in crisis by donating food, grocery store gift cards, or anything else that can help get a nutritious meal on the table. If you want to “do something” to help less fortunate families, but don’t know how, this is the perfect opportunity to lend a hand. Your generosity will directly benefit the families who need it most.
Make a cash donation and we will do the shopping.

More Information:
Youth For Tomorrow was founded by former Redskins Head Coach Joe Gibbs in 1986. His vision was to provide area teenage boys and girls who were experiencing traumatic circumstances with their families, many times abuse and neglect, a place to call home. While most youth are experiencing a life of hope and promise, our children have had frequent failures with family, school and peers — in addition to unimaginable personal tragedies.
“I believe there is nothing more important in life than what we leave behind in terms of how we have helped others. Years from now no one wil remember who had a great season or who won the Super Bowl. That’s why Youth For Tomorrow is so important. For each child that we help, we start a chain of good results because he or she will influence his or her own spouse and children and others around them. And they will pass along what they have learned to others. What will last in this world is what kind of influence we had on others and making a difference in the life of a child.” – Coach Joe Gibbs
