Youth For Tomorrow provides a family atmosphere where young men and women are provided with the opportunity to grow as individuals, establish positive interpersonal relationships and learn key independent living skills.
Standard Boys Program
Boys Residential Program. YFT’s Courage House has 12 beds for boys, ages 12-16. Boys can stay in the program until their 18th birthday or high school graduation/GED completion, whichever comes first.
Standard Girls Program
Girls Residential Program. YFT has two homes for girls. The Chelsea Home has beds for 10 girls, ages 16 and older. The Kelly Home has 10 beds for girls 13-16. Girls can stay in our program until their 21st birthday.
Mommy and Me Home
Mommy and Me Home. YFT has six beds for pregnant teens or teens with babies. The Gladys Lee Home serves young mothers ages 13 to 20. The expectant teen mother’s health will be overseen by our nursing staff. The program offers numerous services and activities aimed at equipping teen mothers with the skills and knowledge required to successfully prepare and care for their unborn infant and child.
Emergency Shelter Care – Unaccompanied Immigrant Minor (UIM) Program
Youth For Tomorrow provides Emergency Shelter Care for unaccompanied minor children under a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement. The program, called the Youth For Tomorrow Unaccompanied Immigrant Minor (UIM) Program, operates twenty-four hours per day, three hundred sixty-five days per year. The program serves both male and female UIM residents.
