Minnieland is a huge part of the Country Fair & Auctions. This year they are doing more than ever and have an incredible line up of activities and entertainment for kids.
Kids admission is only $5 and includes all the free activites, rides, games and entertainment.
11:00am – 4:00pm - RAGING REPTILES: The ever famous Sunny the boa constrictor returns! Snakes, turtles, frogs, and other reptile friends; touch and hold a reptile friend if you dare.
11:00am – 4:00pm – FACE ODYSSEY: Face painting – another popular vendor returns! Children are enchanted when they are allowed to choose a favorite design that transforms their faces with amazing design and color choices.
10:00am – 11:00pm – BINGO the CLOWN: The world’s biggest bubbles will fill the tent and children will delight in the wonderful and silliness of an interactive clown show with bubbles, balloons and more!
11:00am – 12:00pm – DEAN ALLEN: Magician extraordinaire! Children will delight in the illusion and magic of card tricks, hat tricks, and sleight of hand. Interactive performance for children of all ages.
12:30pm – 1:15pm – PIPICIK BACK-PACK PUPPETS: Puppets come to life in Grandpa’s Farm. Meet the friends and enemies of a garden. Help scare away the crows that can harm the garden crops. While tending their garden our puppet friends learn about seeds, planting, and harvesting.
1:30pm – 2:15pm – PIPICIK BACK-PACK PUPPETS: Learn the color of the rainbow through The Rainbow Show. Mischievous monkeys are messing up the color of the rainbow. An interactive puppet show that has the children helping to put the colors of the rainbow back together again!
10:00am – 5:00pm – Minnieland Academy Kid’s Care: Members of the military will be on hand to thank children for their letters and cards of encouragement. Letter writing to the troops; materials provided for children and adults to write heartfelt notes to our various military branches and thank the men and women that serve our country and fight for our freedom.
10:30am – 11:30am – Manassas Christian School’s VEX Robotic Team Demonstration. On the stage under the pavilion the team from MCS will demonstrate their winning robotic skills. MCS won 1st place this year in the county competition and represented Prince William County in the international competition in Anaheim, California.

Cooking Project – Gourmet Caramel Apples – children will be able to create their own caramel apple creation choosing such toppings as mini-marshmallows, sprinkles, crushed cookies, and a variety of candy pieces.
Process Art Project – Vegetable and Fruit printing – a variety of vegetables and fruit such as corn, potatoes, turnips, carrots, pumpkins and apples will be provided for budding artists to create stunning Country Fair Art Projects.
Sensory – Wet, fun, and messy a children’s favorite. Pumpkin pie infused water, gourds, and noodles give sensory a “country fair” flavor and feel.
Science Project - Fall Sink and Float. Children will test their reasoning and prediction skills as they try and figure out which items will sink to the bottom or those that will float to the top.
Door Prize – We will be giving away a Keurig Coffeemaker to the lucky winner of our door prize. You do not need to be present to win. The only requirement is a filled out informational card.
Enrollment Door Prize – We will be giving away a Minnieland Academy back to school pack which will include a ML Academy book bag, lunch bag, water bottle, free week of registration, and an iPad! Winners will be chosen at random based on enrollment cards filled out at the country fair and winner must enroll prior to October 29, 2012 at a Minnieland Academy and the iPad winner will be drawn on October 31, 2012.
